At the Wednesday night bible study service (4/25/12), Prophet Gershon took us through the word of God in 2 Chronicles 21:1-20 and Deuteronomy 8:1.
The prophet helped us understand that the covenant that God made with Abraham, Isaac and Israel God stress in Deuteronomy 8:1, and to David stressed in 2 Chronicles 21:7 held God to a promise to be there and take care of his own. He stated that we as Christians are part of this covenants today in lieu of the new covenant by Jesus Christ birth, death and resurrection (Galatians 3:13-14).
If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ you carry the Abrahamic blessing for God’s Namesake. Prophet Gershon emphasized that the blessing of God in our lives is not only just for our personal benefit, but to testify of the power in the Lord Jesus Christ; in other words, God’s blessing in our lives is for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
